There’s a quiet confidence to Tyla Rodrigues. Rooted in the traditions of country music but guided by a voice entirely her own, the Australian singer-songwriter is part of a new generation bringing depth, honesty and timeless storytelling to the forefront. With soulful vocals, heartfelt lyrics and a captivating stage presence, Tyla creates music that feels both familiar and refreshingly original.

Since releasing her debut EP, Upon Reflection, in October 2024, Tyla has surpassed one million streams and quickly established herself as an exciting emerging force in Australian country music. Handpicked to support American singer-songwriter Dylan Gossett on his Australian and New Zealand tour, she has continued building her international profile with performances at CMA Fest Nashville, CMC Rocks, C2C London and Berlin, and Lasso Festival in Montreal.

In 2025, Tyla signed a global recording deal with ABC Music, made her Nashville debut through Sounds Australia showcases at CMA Fest, participated in APRA Song Hubs Nashville and showcased at BIGSOUND and AmericanaFest.

Her momentum continued in 2026 with a Golden Guitar nomination for Best New Talent and the global release of her four-track EP, Hold On Tight, on 5 February. Produced by Jared Adlam, the EP features songwriting collaborations with Jordan Dozzi, Jesse Dozzi, Sinead Burgess and Blake O’Connor.

The EP has delivered impressive results, with Hot & Heavy and By the Time It’s Over both reaching the Top 20 of the National Country Airplay Chart. Follow-up single Can’t Keep Doing This climbed to number nine at Australian radio in just three weeks, surpassed one million streams and attracted significant US attention, with approximately 80% of its streaming audience coming from the United States.

Tyla also collaborated with American country artist Braxton Keith on an Amazon Original rendition of Do I Ever Cross Your Mind. The release has surpassed eight million global streams, supported by a major Amazon marketing campaign featuring billboard placements in New York City and at CMC Rocks. In August 2026, she joined Australian duo The Kruse Brothers on What’s Left to Hold Onto, further showcasing her love for traditional country sounds and authentic storytelling.

Her 2026 performances have included Tamworth Country Music Festival, Howlin’ Country Australia, C2C London and Berlin, CMC Rocks and CMA Fest on the Wrangler Stage. Recognition from Country in the UK and Entertainment Focus also saw her named among C2C’s standout artists to watch.

With her debut full-length album planned for release in 2026, Tyla is preparing for the next chapter of her career, drawing on traditional country influences and the spirit of the old Wild West. With an expanding international audience, growing catalogue and a clear artistic identity, Tyla Rodrigues is forging her own path while proving that authentic country storytelling never goes out of style.
